Karl Muggeridge who was competing the second round with the HM Plant Honda team in the British Superbike Championship here at Cadwell Park took a 7th and 13th place in today’s 18 lap races.
Muggas got a great start once again of his 13th grip place and jumped a few positions straight away, but in the second race he run out of track before the first turn and got pushed back from where he took off.
Muggas who was hoping to give the team a podium finish this weekend is quite disappointed with the outcome and comments: “ We improved the bike and my time every session over the whole weekend until I fall off in qualifying and everything got a bit shaken up. The first race wasn’t too bad and we were able to finish in the top ten. We then decided to make some changes to the bike for race two but went the wrong way and it ended up with terrible chattering problems from the first lap on. I was hoping
for a lot more and I’m quite disappointed that we had so much trouble to get the bike going. It's always hard to just jump in and replace someone, but I'm always up for a challenge.
